The Advanced Language Translation API API enables translation between multiple languages. It supports text translation, language detection, and additional features like transliteration.
It’s ideal for developers building translation tools, multilingual applications, or content localization solutions.
No, the source and target must by provided in the endpoint.
The API offers both free and paid plans. Each plan has different features and request limits. Check the Pricing Page for details.
If you exceed your limit, the API will return an error. To continue using the API, you can upgrade to a higher plan or wait for your limit to reset.
The translation endpoint returns structured data that includes the source language, target language, and the translated text. It provides both the original text and its translation in an array format for easy access.
The key fields in the response data include "source" (with "language", "iso-code", and "text") and "target" (with "language", "iso-code", and "text"). These fields provide essential information about the translation process.
The response data is organized into two main sections: "source" and "target". Each section contains relevant details about the original text and its translation, making it easy to identify and utilize the information.
The translation endpoint accepts parameters such as "source language" (by code or name) and "target language" (by code or name). Users can customize their requests by specifying these parameters to get desired translations.
Typical use cases include developing language learning applications, creating multilingual content for websites, and automating translation tasks in research or educational projects, enhancing accessibility and communication.
Data accuracy is maintained through the use of Google Translate's robust algorithms and extensive language databases. Continuous updates and improvements ensure that translations remain relevant and precise.
Users can effectively utilize the returned data by extracting the translated text for display in applications, storing it for further processing, or integrating it into language learning tools to enhance user experience.
Standard data patterns include consistent language codes (ISO format) and structured text arrays for translations. Users can expect clear mappings between source and target languages, facilitating straightforward integration into applications.
